According to a credible source in ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s camp, after reading the reply from Goodluck Jonathan, that Baba just laughed in his usual style.
The source say Obasanjo said the truth is well-known to both him and Jonathan and that it would be good for Jonathan to take his message to heart and make the necessary amends before it is too late, as he had already warned him.
Obasanjo was said to have asked if the PDP had ever suffered the kind of losses it is suffering under the watch of President Jonathan.
He warned that the PDP will soon be kicked out of power…
The source further added that Baba expected Jonathan to be more civil in his approach, rather than try to respond in a subtle way to the alleged wrong things he did while in office while ignoring the good ones.
Obasanjo has insisted that he has all the facts about what he wrote and he may be tempted to expose more if in the next few months Jonathan do not make amends.
