Relationship Tip of The Day: There is still hope for your relationship....

Couple of weeks back, a lady gave me a call about her relationship. She explained to me how unhappy she was with her husband for neglecting and not respecting her like he used to.

I felt sorry for her because I realised she secretly wished I could give her the strength to move on with her life (and forget about her husband). After talking to her for a while, I realised her relationship was simply bent but not broken!

There is this popular saying that "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". If all your relationship needs is straightening, you do not need to pick up any piece(s), all you need do is straighten out the bent parts and keep enjoying your spouse or partner.

I asked this woman over the phone few questions and her answers made me convince her that her relationship was still very much alive, it's not dead. All she needed was to water it and make it flourish.

Are you in a similar situation with this lady in question? You feel your marriage or courtship has gotten to a point where you can no longer forge ahead? I've got some questions for you and I need you to answer them truthfully.....
Do you still see your partner in your future? What attracted you to him/her in the beginning of the relationship? Do those things still appeal to you? Did he/she hurt you? If yes, are you strong enough to forgive and let go? Is he/she the one you tell everything and anything that bothers you? Does your partner love you like he/she should? Now be truthful, do you still have an iota of love for him/her deep within you? Are you confused because another man/woman has suddenly began to show extra loving interests in you? Do you think a heart-heart conversation with your partner will work wonders in your relationship?

If you have truthfully answered yes to virtually all the questions.... Sweetheart, there is still hope for your relationship. All you need do is put in more effort and I can assure you that the best is yet to come. There is also something that works for me... Go on your knees and tell God to help you out, be rest assured that He will.

Remember once again... If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I wish you all the love and happiness you need!

Cheers,
Bukola Oyetunji
